Well, baby doll. I think I know what we should do for our bike trip.
You can open the mystery package from the Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin. It's what I hope is a nice map of western Wisconsin showing what type of roads are good to bike from.

I say we find somewhere to park early afternoon on Friday in Marine on St. Croix.
From here, it's 19 miles up to Interstate State Park, again right click to open in another window. I still need to check "hillyness" for the route up there...but I think we should be all right. It looks like they have tent sites with showers and dogs are allowed.
We get up on Saturday and, using our handy map, bike on good WI roads down to Willow River State Park, again right click to open in another window. It's right around 30 miles so maybe we can stop and have a relaxing lunch somewhere.
I checked and they had a ton of sites, allowing dogs - with showers, available. I didn't check about showers for the dogs but I assume that's all right too.
From Willow River, it's another 22 miles back to Marine on Sunday.
It'll be a spectacular SurlyBurly Adventure.
Sounds perfect! I will check out the map tonight (better get to work now) and start telling BurleyGirl all about the adventure!
